Here
are some video clips of my Flutes. I have deliberately played
them without the benifit of an accoustically good enviroment
or any electronic equipment. The video, and sound are recorded
on the video setting of a Nikon digital stills camera. So
what you hear is totaly genuine, and the flute will sound
just the same in your living room. If you play it somewhere
with great accoustics like a cave or even a tiled bathroom
you will be amazed. Simply click on the flute you want to hear and it will open in a new window. Please notice that in order to maintain maximum durability with bamboo you need a node very close to each end. To facilitate this on very low key note NAF flutes I have modified the system to allow air to enter the first chamber from the side. This makes it possible to get some really low key flutes that could not be played if end blown. |
